Goal Setting

Why is goal setting important? Well one it gives us something to aim for because without a goal whats the point right? Second and probaly most importantly it can hold us accountable. It is important to have both short an long term goals. Short-term goals can be as little as a week or two all the way to 2 or 3 months. Long term goals are usually 5 months plus usually years ahead. Your short term goals should all be building and leading up to your long term goals. For example I'll use myself. By the begining of October I want to be training at least 12 hours per week. This is leading up to my long term goal 6 to 7 months from not to be training 30+ hours per week. Lastly it is important to write your goals down on paper don't type them write them by hand and stick them some place where you will see them multiple times per day so that they are a constant reminder of what your working towards.
